We've had a wonderful couple of months since the last post, spending time with friends in Seattle and Boise before heading down here to Dallas to spend some more time with Tina and Sharon and our families. For Jim's mom's birthday this year, we surprised her with a trip to New Orleans this last weekend so we have some pictures from the Big Easy to share. I think Tony and Nita had a pretty good time and it was fun for Tony to walk down memory lane, since he had come to New Orleans for a high school trip when he was 19.
We're getting ready to head to Spain on Thursday and will arrive in Madrid Friday morning. So far, we'll be in Madrid for three days or so and then take the high speed train down to Barcelona for several more days. Tina and Sharon will be leaving us at that time.....big sad face......and then we're on our own until we return to Seattle on March 15th. We're still working out an itenerary so it's hard to say exactly where we'll be at this point, but as we figure it out we'll let you know. We're planning on getting an international SIM card when we arrive and we hope that will allow us to text and call back home and not pay an arm or a leg. For now, though, we'll just be available by email until we find out more about that.......
